A Taleggio style, pasteurized cow’s milk from Cedar Grove, NC. Our good friends at Boxcarr Handmade Cheese are totally nailing their takes on some of the most famous Italian cheeses out there. Everyone and their mother makes Taleggio in Italy (not really, but there's a lot) and most of what makes its way across the pond is just a bit uneventful. But this is everything we’ve ever wanted from the style-mild funkiness, mouth-coating milkiness, and incredible meltability!

Our favorite application: Lissome is an unbelievable melter (boost your pizzas, fill lavish grilled cheeses or top burgers) but it is also incredible on its own with a crisp, tart apple.

Tastes like: Cured meat, grain mustard, clotted cream.
